       Quality Unit Award

Pack 859 was awarded the Quality Unit Award for the 2000 - 2001 Scouting year.  To achieve the Quailty Unit Award, the pack must achieve six of ten requirements.  One of these requirements is an outdoor activity such as Cub Scout day camp, resident camping, family camping Webelos den overnighter, and/or other activity.

What this means to the scout and leader is that he is able to wear the Cub Scout National Quality Unit Award patch.  The patch, available at the Scout Store, is worn centered on the right sleeve, 4 inches below the shoulder seam.  Since only the most recent award may be worn, Pack 859 will be working hard to achieve the Quality Unit Award again this year.

As a scout or leader with Pack 859, be sure to get your patch today and show how proud you are to be a part of a Quality Unit!
